OPEN POST DOCTORAL POSITION:
Postdoctoral research in Experimental Geochemistry, Neutron Scattering, and Geologic Carbon Sequestration: Associate Professor John Kaszuba and Assistant Professor Vladimir Alvarado seek a postdoctoral research scientist for a new project that will explore fundamental aspects of coupling geochemical reactions and multiphase (CO2-H2O) flow in porous rocks. The successful candidate will combine experimental geochemistry and neutron scattering techniques to address this scientific problem. Candidates with a background in geochemistry are encouraged to apply. Candidates who also possess a background in quantitative geochemical analysis, experimental geochemistry, and/or neutron scattering are especially encouraged to apply. This project will begin January 1, 2010. Please contact John or Vladimir for details.
