Professor Ron Frost Receives Grant to Fund Research in Australia
Oct. 30, 2009 -- Professor B. Ronald Frost and Dr. Katy Evans of Curtin University of Technology in Peth, Australia have been awarded a grant worth $155,000 Australian dollars from the Australian Research Council to conduct research on fluid flow through the oceanic crust. The grant will be administered through Curtin University. Frost will spend the end of November in New Caledonian—where a huge slab of oceanic crust is exposed on land—to begin research on this project.
